HARD WATER

Hard water is water that contains a high concentration of minerals like calcium and magnesium. Signs of hard water include:

  • gray, red/brown stains on toilet bowls and shower drains 
  • buildup of soap scum in bathtubs or shower walls
  • chalky white residue on faucets and shower heads
  • dry skin and scalp
